Jurisdictions that haven't committed to avoiding clawbacks in social-assistance payments triggered by federal disability benefits

Only Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Nunavut have so far pledged to avoid the clawbacks.

Note: For all jurisdictions, "welfare income" refers to the total welfare income for single individuals with disabilities as of 2022. Data for Alberta reflect the fact that people with disabilities in the province may be eligible for two different social assistance programs. For Quebec, income data excludes the province's new Basic Income Program, which came into effect at the start of 2023.
