Too close for comfort

Eighty-five kilometres north of the village of Mayo, the Eagle gold mine has caused concerns about groundwater contamination affecting the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun, whose members fish, hunt and trap in the vicinity of the mine. Dozens of fish have been found dead.
